Chocolate Peanut Butter Easy Overnight Oats have been my saving grace this week. Seriously.
I don’t know if it’s something in the air, or maybe it’s the eclipse, but man, have people not been liking me this week. The customer service field is always a roller coaster of emotions and like most things, when it rains it pours. I’ve been called smug, cold, party ruiner, and got yelled at all in one day. That’s definitely a record. Obviously I take days like this with a grain of salt, but that doesn’t mean I don’t break out the chocolate and red wine… because like…. I deserve it. And to make sure I started the next day off on the right foot, why not have chocolate for breakfast… because like… I deserve it. Bring on these chocolate peanut butter easy overnight oats, I’m ready.
The question is are you ready?
These chocolate peanut butter easy overnight oats are creamy, dreamy, and…. healthy? Yes, actually, they are! And I may or may not have prepped enough for the next three mornings. If that doesn’t sound like a party for your mouth I don’t know what is.
Another Easy Overnight Oat Recipe
I added Cacao powder to the easy overnight oats. Cacao powder is essentially chocolate before it’s been processed. Cacao powder is packed with antioxidants, a plant source of Iron, and a natural mood enhancer.
Then I mixed in some toasted flax seeds for some extra fiber, but you can add chia seeds or any nuts/seeds you would like. To top this little oaty gem off, pb2 was the obvious candidate. I mixed the peanut butter powder with a tbsp of water. The result? Basically, it was Reeses peanut butter cups in oat form, and I would not want it any other way.
So before you too become a party pooper break out your mason jars and make these easy overnight oats.

August 23, 2017 at 2:15 pmSo, I have seen these overnight oats but always wanted to ask… so, do you just eat them cold in the AM? I know that sounds stupid but I wondered if this is something people warm up or just eat right from the fridge.
