Say to hayyyy to a nostalgic favorite with this Sloppy Joe Stuffed Peppers recipe.
Seriously, think back to when you were a kid biting into that messy, sloppy sandwich. Who knew in that moment, the only worries you had were how to not get a saucy mess all over your shirt. Now, I’m still worried about getting stuff on my shirt, while being worried about one million other things. Alas, Like Macklemore said, I wish somebody would have told me babe, that someday these will be the good old days. Well you can bite back in time, and with this healthy sloppy joe stuffed peppers recipe.
Waittt… Did I just say healthy and sloppy joe in the same sentence?
Yes fam, I did. My Sloppy Joe Stuffed Peppers recipe is Whole30 approved, paleo friendly, and keto baby. I bet I just blew your mind, because when I was coming up with this flavor monster… mind. blown.
Here is the other thing. Some of you maybe cooking for a family and are worried, how the heck am I going to feed my children a sloppy joe from a pepper vessel?! Well I got you. Reserve some of your sloppy mix and slap it on a bun. Manwich honestly has nothing on a homemade touch to an old classic. But you be the judge, don’t just take my word for it.
Another reason to hop on the healthy sloppy joe train (yes I just made that a thing) is make one for dinner and bada boom put that other puppy in a tupperware and hello tomorrow’s lunch. Would you believe that the flavors just get better with overnight?!
Well Believe it!!
Whip up a batch of these sloppy joe stuffed peppers and never go back to the canned wall that held you back before!
