I feel like Chai is as controversial as politics.
There are two types of people in this world. You either love Chai …. or if you get even one wiff, you feel as though you have been betrayed by your surroundings for even allowing the aroma to penetrate your nostrils. Being team chai my whole life, I never could imagine making chai out to be a villain. But to each their own.
It’s spicy, sweet, and makes me feel cozy. Something about that spicy sweet combo is really just my jam. Basically MACA: Make America Chai Again.
Obviously, that was me being funny. Or trying to be… But I do love chai lattees, chai coffee cake, chai tea… I mean the list can go on, but I will spare you and cut to the chai, I mean chase.
With all the warm and cozies, why not make some Chai Overnight Oats!?
It’s perfect for the Fall season and a great addition to meal prep! I featured another overnight oat recipe a while back (if you’re not a chai fan) and if you’ve never tried them, now is the time. The amount of time you save in the mornings when you prep a big batch of overnight oats are honestly one of the main reasons to join this trend. I end up making a few cups of overnight oats at at a time and It’s literally a grab and go breakfast filled with protein, fiber, and what ever flavors your heart desires.
I usually make my overnight oats the night before, but as long as they have 4 hours to soak they should be good to go!
Well grab your mason jars ladies and gents. These Almond Chai Overnight Oats aren’t going to make themselves!
